dc.description Formative assessment has been around for a long time. This interactive workshop offers participants from all disciplines the opportunity to visit or revisit different concepts related to formative-assessment practices in the classroom that have an optimal effect on student motivation and success, such as regulation, self-regulation, metacognition, and feedback. The workshop also covers some practical techniques that can foster student engagement and participation during learning activities in order for students to progress and improve their learning outcomes. fr
