Résumé: "How can we best support and engage our colleagues in the early stages—or at any stage—of their teaching journey? In this session, teachers and pedagogical counsellors from John Abbott College and Vanier College will share their respective approaches to building and implementing programs designed to better support new and early career teachers. The successes and challenges of these initiatives will be discussed, including the importance of building a welcoming community, creating and curating resources, and establishing open lines of communication within and across institutions. Our data will highlight both the need for these types of programs and their positive impacts. Lastly, we will engage participants in a discussion of how, with the help of SALTISE, we can extend our community of practice to include other CEGEPs and colleges." -- AQPC
